i am researching Barnabas Gallagher or any variant of Gallagher. According to land records he buys land in Westmoreland County Derry Township PA USA in 1773. According to family stories he is Ulster-Scot and leaves County Down Ireland around 1770. He calls his land in PA "Hibernia." His chilren are Margret, Thomas, William, James and Philip. I am seeking clues about his life in Ireland or Scotland and any family members that are related. I have fleshed out his life in America and have a wealth of information to share.
